Technical Sales Manager

Job Overview
The Technical Sales Manager position is responsible for managing a sales territory in Québec while providing technical support to customers and the sales team.  This position will be based at the prospective employee’s home office.

Accountability

  • Manage existing customer base, identify and pursue potential new business
  • Obtain product approval from various customer engineering groups
  • Work with our suppliers to overcome technical related issues in the field
  • Provide product training through hands-on field training and/or seminar presentations

Job Requirements

  • Fully bilingual in French & English; translation skills an asset
  • Post secondary school education
  • Technical field experience, outside plant telecommunications
  • Proven sales and/or marketing experience
  • Strong computer skills - knowledge of Windows XP and Microsoft Office, proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to work independently
