Eye P.A.
A WiFi packet analysis tool that can show you how your channel is being used, packet-by-packet
vendor P/N: EYEPA

Troubleshoot WiFi conversations with Eye P.A., a WiFi packet analysis tool that can show you how your channel is being used, packet-by-packet. With just a glance, you can see the total utilization of air time, packets sent, and bytes present in your capture– the bigger the slice, the more activity taking place.
From here, it’s easy to drill down to exactly what you’re looking for, so you can find and fix packet issues and improve overall network capacity.

The best thing about Eye P.A. is its intuitive, visual take on filtering with its multi-layered pie chart (“treepie”) system. With just a few clicks, you can drill down into the exact network conversation that’s causing the problem, without scrolling through hundreds of rows of data in a huge table.
Eye P.A. color-codes subframe types as well, so you can quickly see how much traffic was management overhead (purple and orange), and how much traffic was data payload (blue).

Fix Network Misconfigurations
A lot goes into deploying a wireless network, and sometimes settings get overlooked. The Analyze Tab will alert you to a number of potential issues, along with suggested solutions that can help you to increase your network performance.
Find Top Talkers and Slow Conversations
Eye P.A. makes it easy to identify slow conversations that are reducing network capacity. These could be legacy devices on your network, or maybe a certain device that is taking up more than its fair share of airtime. By looking at clients from the packet level, you can see which devices are transmitting, how much airtime they’re taking up, and how fast they’re talking.
Capture Packets with AirPcap Nx

Eye P.A. supports packet capture with the AirPcap Nx. This 2×2 MIMO device allows you to record 802.11a/b/g/n packet captures in both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Support for AirPcap Nx is built into Eye P.A., so you won’t have to launch another program.
Eye P.A. also supports the following packet capture file types:
• WireShark .pcap, .wcap and .pcapng
• TamoSoft Commview .ncf
• WildPackets Omnipeek .pkt and .apc (Experimental)
• Microsoft Network Monitor .cap
